Portraits, drawings and abstract work.

Well you could see I was into Rock music and insteadd of buying posters, I just made my own…

Drawings

I think the picture of Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers was one of the first ones I did with just pencil that I really thought was good. I must have been around 16/17/18 I think. Later I planned to do a whole bunch of portaits from Lord of the Rings. Never got past Arwen and Eomer, because I got bored with drawing for a while.

Portaits and Icons

Rock Icons, CD covers and more

My Own Prison

An album of Creed that I liked back then. Added it to 16 CD covers and put it on the wall.

Kurt Cobain

Initially I wanted to fill in the white with blue pastel or water paint but I just liked it already and decided to leave it like this...

Queens of the stone Age

With Kurt I left the white spaces white. Here I did fill them in with a weird kind of green... But yes, songs for the deaf is still a great album!

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Simple paint, with some pastels over it, to add some details, but deliberately kept pretty vague.

More portaits

Who is more rock and roll than Paddington?

Kirk Hammett

Waterbased posterpaint with pastel pencils to add some colours.

Amy Lee

Amy Lee from Evanescence. Had a small crush on her and this painting was actually part of 4. It never really turned out the way I wanted to, but it was a good lesson on Acrylic paint.

Dave Grohl

I think one of my earliest Acrylic Paintings. Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters and Nirvana.

Paddington

This one I made a couple of years ago for my son, when we were reading Paddington. Waterbased Posterpaint and then pastel pencil on top of it...

Middle Earth

Watercolours with Ink. Took me years to finish it...

Nameless

Again waterbased posterpaint and then pastel pencils drawn over it to add the details and shades. Background is watercolour paint.

Love Metal

Yes I was a fan of HIM and their album Love Metal. I added the eye myself...

Monkey

This is my first and only experiment with oil based paint.

Mixed section two

System of a down

Watercolours with Ink. Took me years to finish it...

Graveyard Angel

Just a drawing with black pencil. This was quite the effort and a study in structures, depths and light and dark, using no colours and just one medium. It's gottan damaged a little, but I still like the leaves and the branches in the background.

Gladiator

This was one of the first drawings I did with the soft pastels I got from my parents. I had just seen Gladiator, and you gotta love the movie. I wanted to do something with the scene where Rusell Crow dies and is re-united with his family. The scene where his hands are going through the long yellow grass or wheat is just so heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. But I couldn't get that feeling in any way. This shot, with the very light yellow background was the best thing I could do to try capture that feeling of that scene...

Actress

I seriously forgot who she was, but I was moslty looking for pictures with beautiful shadows I could draw. This drawing is quite small. I think 15 x 20 cm and I remember being quite happy with how the eyes turned out.

Grandma and Grandpa

My grandparents where married 60 years. Can you imagine? I definitely got my creative side from my sweet sweet grandfather, so he deserves to be on the website!

Eru

I remember I wrote a text and translated it into the Elvish language of Tolkien and that's the text written here. Just no clue what it said anymore...
